This morning, Google announced that its annual Pixel hardware event is scheduled for August 13, marking an unusually early date for 2024, as the Made by Google events typically occur in October.
In a departure from previous years, this event will be held at the company's headquarters in Mountain View, California, rather than in New York City. The initial two Made by Google events took place in San Francisco before the venue shifted to the East Coast.
Historically, Made by Google events have been hosted on the East Coast in October. However, this year's event will commence at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET on August 13 at the Mountain View headquarters.
As always, the most straightforward method to view is via Google's official livestream, which is conveniently embedded below.
Alongside the Pixel 9, it is anticipated that there will be two different sizes of the Pixel 9 Pro. The speculated “XL” version is expected to match the dimensions of the current Pro model, while Google is set to introduce a more compact flagship. Additionally, a Pixel 9 Pro Fold is also anticipated.
